Washington, DC natives Lamont “Havoc” Peterson and Anthony Peterson along with Brandywine, Maryland’s Seth “Mayhem” Mitchell held a media workout today at the Joy Evans Recreation Center (Headbangers Boxing Gym)in Washington, DC, as they prepare for their respective bouts on “Capital Showdown” on December 10 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. Peterson’s 12-round championship bout against Unified Super Lightweight World Champion Amir Khan and Mitchell’s 10-round bout against Timur Ibragimov will be telecast live on HBO’s World Championship Boxing. Anthony Peterson is training for a for a 10-round lightweight undercard fight against an opponent to be determined.
I’m feeling an upset in this fight. Khan doesn’t impress me with his footwork, and Peterson has a dog in him! Should be a good one!
