The Venezuelan Jorge Linares will face Josephat Perez of Mexico on May 9th in Nuevo Laredo, MX, to defend the WBA super featherweight title over 12 scheduled rounds.
The bout was originally scheduled for May 1st.
Linares has been training in the United States after starting this camp in Tokyo, Japan, where he lives.
“Linares is preparing himself to the fullest, adjusting, sparring and conditioning, he looks ready,” an inside source stated.
