Saul “Canelo” Alvarez Will Move to Los Angeles

Besides Oscar De La Hoya showing off his awesome view of his house in Puerto Rico on Twitter, he also twitted about Saul “Canelo” Alvarez leaving his native Mexico and moving to Los Angles to train and to learn english.

The 20-year-old rising Mexican star “Canelo” (35-0-1, 26 KOs) will jump back in the ring on March 5 on HBO’s Boxing After Dark at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. There are two possible opponents for the cinnamon stick; welterweight titleholder Vyacheslav Senchenko and European welterweight champ Matthew Hatton, the younger brother of Ricky Hatton. Robert Guerrero and Michael Katsidis will also be part of the undercard come March 5. Golden Boy Promotions will officially make the announcement in the next couple of weeks.
