Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao arrived in L.A.X Saturday night and began training at the Wild Card Gym with trainer, Freddie Roach. Pacquiao was supposed to start training in Los Angeles since October 14 forcing several media events to be canceled due to his congressional schedule in the Philippines.

Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KOs), will collided with Juan Manuel Marquez for the fourth time on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Take out your Players Rewards Card cause this fight can go either way. Pacquiao leads the series 2-0-1 with all three outcomes being razor thin.

Last week ESPN also reported that Manny Pacquiao has signed a contract extension with promoter Top Rank that will keep the Filipino icon with the company through the end of 2014. Bob Arum said Pacquiao received a $1 million signing bonus with the opportunity to receive another $1 million if there are two fights in 2014.

Pacquiao elected to fight Mexico’s Marquez (54-6-1, 39 KOs) for the fourth time rather than fight Timothy Bradley Jr. in a rematch of their massively controversial fight in June, which Bradley claimed via split decision to win a welterweight belt.
