The final predictions are in. After a great night of fights and the end to our first fight prediction contest, we have our final standings.

1. Felipe: 9-0 (+3)
2. Esteban: 8-1 (+4)
3. Michele: 8-1 (+8)
4. Gabrael: 8-1 (+3)
(tied)
     Edgar: 8-1 (+3) (tied)
5. James: 8-1 (+2)
6. Rob: 7-2 (+6)

It was a very close contest. The deciding factor was a bold decision by Esteban to predict Ortiz by KO 5. Although Victor had a punchers chance, Floyd was far superior and defeated the younger fighter in 4 rounds. Michele finished with the most points meaning that her win predictions were most accurate.

Congratulation to Felipe Leon!

  1. Overall it looks like the whole staff are really good predicting fights. Personally, I have sort of a ‘soft spot’ for the underdogs which in turn effects my predictions to a degree.

Anyway, congrats to Felipe and to all the runner-ups!!

  2. Felipe won $100.00 plus the Bragging rights… which his already bragging asking me to change the headline to “Move over Ali, Felipe Leon is the Greatest!” LOL

Overall it was a fun contest; I want to thank Rob Rutz for organizing and keeping track of the point system.

Maybe next time will offer a prediction contest to our readers… stay tune…
