Its official, WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto will take on Ricardo “EL 
Matador” Mayorga on March 12 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. In a recent interview with Miguel Cotto, Cotto stated he’s not concerned with the trash talking Mayorga plans to do.
“Mayorga has shown on a few different occasions that most of what he says and does inside the ring have left him beaten by his opponents. I guarantee that this will be the next occasion,” Cotto told Fanaticos.
Team Cotto will travel to Florida in the next week where he will begin his training. Trainer Emanuel Steward will be on hand from the first day of camp. If Cotto wins, then a rematch with Antonio Margarito might happen in late June.
“These are things that are in the pipeline but nothing is official yet,” stated Cotto. “As always, I’m looking to face the big names and get wins. That’s what we look for as fighters.”
This will be a good fight. I think cotto will ko mayorga in the late rounds. Mayorga is still dangerous and he has nothing to lose which makes him even more dangerous. Of coures he still talks alot of garbage, but cotto will shut him up. I’m with jonny-boy this is going to be fun. I hope cotto drops this clown. I’m sure I’m not the only one thats dying to see a rematch with margarito. And I believe cotto needs to win that rematch.
Cant wait to hear Mayorga run his mouth about Cotto the fights gonna be something else but I’m interested I will watch and backing Cotto of course but this is gonna be fun.

Cotto will beat Mayorga, no doubt about it.
Then we will see the rematch Cotto vs. Margarito.
Even if a miracle happens and Mayorga somehow ends up winning, a fight between Margarito and Mayorga sounds fun.
Alright.!!!! I think this is going to be an entertaining fight……but I gotta go with cotto on this one… But hey u never know,, I thought Vargas was gonna kick his ass , and look at what happend in that fight ,Mayorga whooped him……
