Arthur Abraham and Carl Froch have been postponed to a later date. The preparations of King Arthur up to now have gone without big problems however Carl Froch has suffered a back injury according to his promoter Mick Hennessy. The fight was originally schedule for October 2, but the exact date in which the Super Six fight can be fought will be announced as soon as possible. Anyone who purchased any tickets will remain valid for the new date.

“This is really very unfortunate. The whole world is feverishly awaiting this fight. However, you can’t do anything about injuries, which sometimes come in such a hard sport like boxing,” said Abraham’s Hall of Fame promoter Wilfried Sauerland. “Nevertheless, it’s just postponed not canceled. So Arthur Abraham will just beat “The Cobra” in November or December. We’re working hard on finding a new date.”

  1. I am happy with the remaining fighters. Too bad we have fights getting postponed.

Taylor should have never entered the tournament. He should have let Lucian Butte enter instead.
Green showed no intention of being a real contender,
Kessler (and his doctors) claim he has a legit excuse not to continue…

Let’s get this done by the end of next year. It went on too long already.

  2. This tournament isnt even worth it anymore everyone pulling out it’s a shame that it’s falling apart like this Dirrell/Ward hasent even been completly figured out. Kessler gone now Froch with a back injury. I will still be waiting for these fights but it shouldnt even be considered a Tournament anymore.
