Goossen Tutor Promotions release a statement yesterday officially announcing

a May 8 twelve-round super welterweight clash between Paul “The Punisher” Williams (38-1, 27 KOs) and Kermit “The Killer” Cintron (32-2-1, 28 KOs) the press conference will take place tomorrow in Los Angeles. The HBO-televised bout will take place at The Home Depot Center Tennis Stadium in Carson, CA.

  2. I love this matchup. Williams is a pure freak of nature and Cintron is more powerful than just about anyone. I think Williams will baffle Cintron early on but eventually, Kermit will start connecting and when he does it will spell trouble for Williams. Should be an amazing fight!

  4. I dont think cintron or Willaims will fight Margarito again. Antonio Margarito beat Cintron twice and Lost to Williams.

  5. I’m not to sure Cintron is all that he has seem to be in his last fights, I still think that with the long reach Williams has it will give big problems to Cintron and it will make the difference, I have Williams winning a UD.

  6. Why would the winner fight Margarito? These two warriors have played by the rules and have fought their way to where they are. Margarito, on the other hand, is a cheater and a bum. Let’s keep the cheater out of this discussion and focus on what should be a great fight. Williams will present a challenge to Cintron with his height and reach advantage but I have a sneaking suspicion that Cintron will find a way to win this fight. I’ve been very impressed with his recent “boxing” and feel he will be able to connect on Williams. Prediction – a Cintron victory. How? Does it matter. He’ll find a way to win!
