According to the Siglo de Torreon newspaper, former super flyweight champion Cristian Mijares confirmed the date for his next fight which will be on April 10th in Durango, MX, against Francisco “Panchito” Arce, brother of three time world champion Jorge 
“Travieso” Arce.
Mijares mentioned that the bout is scheduled for ten rounds in the super flyweight division.
“There is two months to go and I will have a good training camp in all aspects,” Mijares stated. “I am confident that I can beat ‘Panchito’ so that after I can challenge his brother for the WBO title.”
