Floyd “Money” Mayweather has released the following statement regarding a superfight with Manny Pacquiao:
“Throughout this whole process I have remained patient, but at this point I am thoroughly disgusted that Pacquiao and his representatives are trying to blame me for the fight not happening when clearly the blame is on them.
“First and foremost, not only do I want to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to whip his punk ass.
“Before the mediation, my team proposed a 14-day, no blood testing window leading up to the fight. But it was rejected. I am still proposing the 14-day window but he is still unwilling to agree to it, even though this is obviously a fair compromise on my part as I wanted the testing to be up until the fight and he wanted a 30-day cut-off. The truth is he just doesn’t want to take the tests.
“In my opinion it is Manny Pacquiao and his team who are denying the people a chance to see the biggest fight ever. I know the people will see through their smokescreens and lies. I am ready to fight and sign the contract. Manny needs to stop making his excuses, step up and fight.”

Why did Mayweather came up with the steroid BS? I don’t understand why being successful is directly attributive to steroids or some kind of performance enhancement, I’m not saying he is not juicing because I’m not Manny Pacquiao, how can I know that, I can’t, but it seems like some people just don’t like when someone else is more successful than them (or at least it looks like that).
With that kind of an argument you can say Michael Jordan, Tiger woods, Edwin Valero ? lol , and any other unusually successful athlete must be or must have been taking some kind of performance enhancement because they do things most athletes aren’t able to do.
The only suspicious thing about Pacquiao is saying NO to the way Mayweather wants to do testing after it looked like the fight was going to happen because of it, nothing else, and the whole thing started with Mayweather saying he is on steroids with no proof or valid argument what so ever, even Roger Mayweather has said Pacquiao doesn’t know how to box, and that Pacquiao doesn’t know anything about boxing, that sounds crazy and how can I believe someones that says something like that, being successful is not a valid argument.
What’s sad is that Floyd Mayweather with the kind of skills he has could have probably done what Pacquiao has done or even better, going up in weight fighting the big champions, winning more championships belts then anyone, and at the end he could be cementing himself as the best boxer ever, and would have not needed to come up with the excuse and baseless argument that Pacquiao is juicing.
The kind of skills Mayweather has don’t come very often in boxing, yet he chooses to protect his undefended record by not taking on real challenges, cherry pick his fights, have some kind of advantage when making those fights and then say I’m the best because I’m undefeated and I beat champions, name any of the big names he has defeated?
Same argument can be made about Pacquiao’s last 2 years, fighting a drained DLH, and over hyped Hatton and a damaged goods Cotto, but he did finish those opponents in spectacular way, and before he went up to the welterweights he did TKO Barrera, KO Morales twice and has 2 questionable wins over Marquez, (and I’m a fan of the last two I mention) you can’t say he did not fought a few of the best champions (and future hall of famers) there were at featherweight and super featherweight. The welterweights have been kinda cherry picked but still they have been very impressive.
If they had found his name in the BALCO fiasco, or someone coming out saying they have seen him getting shots or something to substantiate such a big and hurtful accusation for any kind of an athletes, then we would need some answers from Pacquiao and we could label him a cheater, but not just because Mayweather says so, and him not agreeing to Mayweather’s testing regiment does makes me and people wonder, but only up to a point.

Who does Floyd think he is to demand Pacquiao to take a blood test that the Nevada Boxing Commision doesn’t even require for the fight. Pacquiao even agreed to the blood test 24 days before which he didn’t have to, Floyd Mayweather is scared to fight the Pacman. Mayweather needs Pacquiao not the other way around. The fans want this fight and boxing needs this fight!
