The Indonesian Chris John, WBA featherweight champion, will defend his crown on the island of Bali, Indonesia, in his next bout.
After many of his countrymen called for John to fight once again in his country, the Indonesian promoter Zaenal Thayeb announced that John will be doing just that in the first week of April. An opponent has not been named.
John captured the WBA title when he defeated Oscar Leon via a split decision in 2003.
I wish Edwin Valero fights Chris John. That would be great.
