Troy Rowland will be the next opponent of Julio Cesar Chávez jr. on Top Rank’s November 14 “Firepower” super card headlined by Manny Pacquiao against Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Chávez Jr. (40-0-1, 30 KOs) and Rowland (25-2, 7 KOs) will meet in a ten round super welterweight fight. Chavez Jr. has said thathe’s hoping to land a world title shot in May or July of next year in the Plaza Mexico. Besides Chávez, Jesus Soto-Karass and Alfonso Gómez will likely meet in a welterweight clash.
I heard Marvin Sonsona would be included in the undercard of FIREPOWER as promised by Pacquiao to his now late godfather Rod Nasario. Anyone who can confirm this?
