Next Monday night, renowned Tijuana, MX, manager and trainer Roberto Sandoval will present a special fight card featuring all young local talent with all proceeds being donated to former IBF minimumweight champion VIctor Burgos.

Burgos suffered a brain injury in his challenge of current IBF super flyweight champion Vic Darchynian on the undercard of Vazquez-Marquez I last March.

Burgos has recuperated considerably but continues to struggle with medical bills.

In the main event on October 20th, Salvador Sanchez Jr (11-3-2, 6KO) will take on pro debuter Roman Armenta in a super featherweight eight round bout.

In a six round middleweight match up, Alvaro Aguilar (18-2-1, 16KO) faces Miguel Zuniga (9-1, 6KO).

Pavel Miranda (16-2, 8KO) who is coming off a tough loss in his last bout versus Ty Barnett will try to get back on the winning side when he matches up to Jorge Juarez (7-9-2, 2KO).

Super flyweight Rogelio Armenta (0-2) will be looking for his first pro win against David Gaspar (6-0-1, 4KO) over six rounds.

In the lightweight division, Alain “Konan” Hernandez (12-6-2, 7KO) will face journeyman Juan Pablo “Becerro” Bojorquez (1-16, 1KO) for six rounds or less.

In a rare Mexican heavyweight contest, local favorite Antonio Mendivil (13-2-3, 8KO) will face the always feared TBA.

In a 160 lbs. face off, Arturo Rodriguez (12-11, 7KO) clashes against David Victorio (1-4, 1KO).

In a four round featherweight bout, Jesus Balderas (6-3-1, 6KO) will take on pro debuter David Dawfter. Plus two more fights.

In a great gesture, all fighters on the card will donate their entire purses to the Victor Burgos fund while the WBC has already gotten in the action by donating $1000 to the cause.

Ringside tickets are only $25.00 while reserved are $12.00. General admission are an unprecedented $4.00. The fight night will presented at the Municipal Auditorium whose services for the night were donated by the current Tijuana Sport Secretary three time world champion Erik Morales. Doors open at 7:30pm while the first punch is thrown at 8:00pm.
