Today at Oracle Arena in Oakland Calif, undefeated WBA and WBC super-middeweight champion, Andre “S.O.G.” Ward (25-0, 13 KOs) and WBC light-heavyweight champion, “BAD” Chad Dawson (31-1, 17 KOs) hosted a press conference to discuss their upcoming championship bout, taking place September 8, 2012 at Oracle Arena televised live on HBO Championship Boxing.

World champ vs World champ! i commend both these guys for stepping up, signing the contract, and making it happen. On HBO no less. A win by Andre Ward, and he’s seriously climbing the P4P ladder. A win by Chad Dawson, and he’s in charge of 2 weight classes. Ward/Dawson, Alvarez/Lopez, Chavez/Martinez all in a 2 week span. This ought to shut up the “boxing’s dead” idiots for awhile! Can’t wait!
