Undefeated junior welterweight Timothy Bradley will take on Joel Casamayor in a 10 round bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday night. The bout will precede the 12 round welterweight bout between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.

“I’ll be 29-0 and there’s nothing Casamayor can do,” stated Bradley “ I’m the champion. I’m going to blow you up bro! You don’t understand who you’re going to be in the ring with. I hope you bring that fire to the ring. Saturday its on”

The last time Bradley was inside a ring was when he won a 10th round technical decision over Devon Alexander in January before about 8,000 fans inside the cavernous Silverdome in Pontiac, MI. Bradley headlined the show and won the fight as expected, but the fight left much to be desired, considering both were unbeaten and amongst the best at 140 pounds.

On Saturday night, he will face another southpaw in Casamayor, long from the same fighter who dominated fighters at 130 and 135 pounds years ago.

“I feel great. Everyone knows what I bring to the ring,” stated Casamyor.

  1. I understand why no one is giving JMM a chance but judging on the first two fights I believe JMM can make a good fight of this.

  2. Casamayor is washed up and Bradley will not be able to stop him. Least interesting fight on the card. Neither of these guys grabs my attention Bradley can keep a furious pace but it’s so sloppy it’s hardly enjoyable to watch, he has little punching power (slaps more than punches) and I’m sure at some point a headbutt is going to land and possibly stop the fight early. Never been a big fan of Casamayor’s but it’s obvious his best days are behind him at this point. Hopefully besides the main event some fight delivers but i’m sure this won’t be it. Not even sure that fight will deliver with the weight more than likely will be working against Marquez again. Keeping my fingers crossed he can make it an exciting fight like the first two and hopefully can pull off the win this time but realistically I see a bad night for Marquez. Thankfully not the one purchasing this fight but I will be watching.

  3. Well , let’s hope there’s some action in this one…. They seem to be barking alot at each other, now let’s c that bite!!
