  1. A blister on the foot ? Beleive it or not I had a fighter tell me he had to stop during a sparring session for the same reason, and the first thing I said was ” if this was a real bout you would have to quit before I stop it. Your job as a trainer is also to motivate and remind your of his warrior instinct. Mosley was a warrior he just forgot, he honestly beleived he could win, and when he realized he couldn’t he was not willing to go out on his shield. Compare Shanes foot blister to Eric Morales’ eye. Nazim made the right choice.

  2. I was thinking the same thing. But at the same time you have to understand Nazim.

You know how boxers get all depress and cant live with the fact they quit. Nazim told Mosley “I can’t let you quit like this you would never forgive your self.”

    Its True.

What do you guys think? Did Nazim did the right thing by letting the fight go on?

  3. I think Nazim should have respected Mosley’s wish to have the fight stopped. As a trainer he should always look out for his fighter, he’s not the one in the ring it’s easy to just tell him to get back out there but what if Mosley got seriously hurt after his request. He failed his fighter that night all he was thinking is being the one to stop Freddie and Manny and what it would do for him.
