Bernard Hopkins still insists that his rematch with Roy Jones Jr. is viable despite Jones’ first round KO loss to Danny Green. “The Executioner” implied that the stoppage was too early. “Let the man defend himself to the point where he’s either down or basically quit,” he stated. “Everybody knows what happens when you go over to Europe. That’s why I would never go over there.” (Note: Green-Jones was actually in Australia).

Looks like Arthur Abraham and Andre Dirrell won’t be locked down in training camp over the Holidays after all. Their proposed January 23 SUPER SIX showdown has reportedly now been set for March 6 in Rancho Mirage, CA (121 miles east of Los Angeles).

  1. Too be honest, the whole camp should be a shame of themselves, they are shielding a bum come are you serious, not even decent. Look at this he’s a middle weight, a guy who is 40 – 0 can’t even fight at least a top middle weight come on! what a joke!!! get this bum out of here, if he can’t take the heat get the hell out of the kitchen you Chaves JR bum

  2. This must be the first time we can all agree lol. He is a decent fighter but decent is a very long long way from great, which is what you have to be to get anywhere in boxing. He just tainted his future in the fight game if he ever had one.

  3. I agree with Mr. Brown “What Talent” chavez Jr. Sucks! the day he fights some one other than a bum he will get his ass kicked!

  4. And so, what now, Jr? You simply destroyed your future. With your good looks, I believe, you can try the movies. You are finished insofar as boxing is concerned.

  5. Are we still talking about this guy? He does not have enough talent or heart to compete on the big stage. GET RID OF HIM ARUM!!!

  6. Come on, this kid us acting like an idiot, all he needs to do is stay in shape between fights, he gets to fat and then has to drain him self to make weight and ends up all tired fight night, that’s not the life of a boxer, shit like that is what made his fader fade away from grace.

You can’t party hard, eat like a king and then think you can be 100% on fight night. Just ask Hopkins how is he able to still compete?

This kid is being given all the opportunitys a lot of other boxer will bleed and sweat all their life to get and he doesn’t appreciate it.
Now that’s sad, let’s hope he sees the light.
