Miguel Cotto will be at ringside for the November 13th mega fight between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito, the only two fighters who beat the Puerto Rican. Can this mean the possibility of Cotto facing the winner? I am sure boxing fans would love to see a rematch between Margarito and Cotto. As you know, before Margarito there was rumor that Bob Arum was planning to put Miguel Cotto back in the ring with Pacquiao so there’s a high possibility that Cotto might face the winner.
“I have no prediction whatsoever. I only know that it’s going to be a great fight. I don’t know if it’s going to go the distance because both of them are explosive and strong fighters. Anything can happen,” stated Cotto.
On Friday, Nov. 5 Miguel Cotto in association with Golden Boy Promotions will feature, Cotto’s brother, junior welterweight contender José Miguel Cotto (31-2, 23 KOs) vs. Oscar León (28-13, 18 KOs) and Jesús Rojas (15-1, 12 KOs) vs. Reynaldo López (31-8-3, 22 KOs) will be the co-main event of the show on Solo Boxeo Tecate.
well if margaritos hands are checked very well i think cotto will beat the shit out of margacheto. since he has been cought with hand wraps he is 1-2 knocked out once should of been twice but the ref felt sorry for him and he lasted 12 rounds with a bum. now concidering cotto had a bullshit trainer agains pacman he has a better one now. and as for him to retire…. why??? lol he is only 30 years old lolol..
