Earlier this week in a video interview posted by Elie Seckbach of FanHouse, Margarito and Brandon Rios — both of whom are trained by Robert Garcia — appear to make fun of Freddie Roach. Margarito makes a twisted face and raises a shaking hand for the camera saying his scared while Rios makes faces and stutters while saying Pacquiao’s name imitating Roach.
Let’s get this straight, it’s not cool to make fun of someone who has Parkinson’s disease but is also not right for someone who has Parkinson’s disease to be calling someone names. In many interviews, Roach refers Margarito as a cheater and what not even though he was never convicted so making the assumption and calling some one names doesn’t make it right. See, where I come from, if you’re going have the balls to talk shit, then you better tighten your balls and expect a comeback.
Robert Garcia did apologize for his fighters behavior. Two wrongs don’t make it right. It’s like the old saying goes, you shouldn’t throw stones if you live in a glass house or like we say it “Si te yevas, aguantate!”
Roach called Margarito a cheater because he was caught cheating.Fact, not fiction or rumor. Margarito and Rios made fun of Roach’s medical condition because they couldn’t think of anything intelligent to say. No comparison. I don´t think Margarito and Rios are right, it is not the same mocking on someone who does not have a choice on his situation, for example, Parkinson´s disease and mocking about the mistakes that somebody made, Margarito could have made better decisions before the hand-wrap scandal.
