Pacquiao-Margarito Heats Up!

There are a lot of people who aren’t happy that Pacquiao chose Margarito given the hand wrap controversy but no one is ignoring the fight. Next week, October 23, HBO will air the first of four 24/7 episodes which will ruffle some feathers.

With one month away, things are heating up between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito. During HBO’s Face Off with Max Kellerman, you could feel the tension in the room. Max Kellerman asked Margarito what he thought about Pacquiao saying Margarito knew about the illegal hand wraps.

“I have also heard many reports that he is on steroids,” replied Margarito “It’s like I will say the same.”

Things get more heated when Freddie Roach says Manny Pacquiao will knock Margarito out in 8 rounds.

“What? does he see me crippled or something?,” Margarito replies.

“I saw your last two fights,” Roach fires back.

Its going to be a hell of a fight in which many believe Pacquiao’s speed will be sufficient to unwind the Tijuana Tornado while others believe Margarito’s best chance is to pin Pacquiao in a corner and do his work in a confined space the way he did in his fight with Miguel Cotto.

On November 13 from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, we’ll see who comes out victorious.

  1. I hear bro, mayweather doesnt want to fight either one of these guys. Mayplether fans have all but disappeard, When you speek of him his fans look for a place to hide their faces. I dont blame them though, If I was a loyal fan of his I’d be asking myself what did I like about him other than his skills. Its obvious now that there’s nothing to like but his boxing skills. Sorry mayweather fans but I tried to tell you guys he was just a loser with a lot of money. All floyds fans are MIA sence they realized that their hero is realy a zero.I said it before. Floyd Mayweather, The saddest story in boxing and that was before he got arrested. All his garbage is coming back to bight him on the ass. KARMA, it’s a bitch isnt it?

  6. I just wanna watch one hell of a fight, drink some cold beers and eat some BBQ. I like both of them and it’s just gonna be an interesting fight and i’m hoping for the upset but I just don’t see Tony winning if he does though I will be the first to admit I was wrong happily.

    I’ve noticed that Roach is talking more than usual .I think it’s a sight of fear .
    Roach predictions most the time are erroneous
    I know he is a good trainer ,but he thinks that people should take his predictions into consideration as if he knows it all .Give me a break !
    Roach the preacient trainer .Go figure.

  9. @Jessus,I concur ,but I believe that this the toughest fight in manny’s career .In regards to Floyd,I am positive that both Margarito and manny can beat floyd easily .I think Margarito can punish floyd and make him retire for good for many reasons as follow
    1)It will be a long night for floyd if he fights Tony
    because he doesn’t possess the power to knock out a fly with his broken hands.
    2) We all witnessed how floyd reacted to heavy punches when fight Mosley .Tony will hit hard throughout the entire fight.

    3)Floyd’s speed and foot work are deteriorating .

    4) Foyd refused to fight Tony in manny occasions.Literally,Tony said to floyd in person let’s get it on .
    5) Tony has the heart and the aggressiveness that Floyd is devoid of .

    Margarito is going to be the P4P king in the very near future.

  10. People need to get past the hand wrap controversy and admit this is the best fight Pacquiao can take other than Mayweather.
    I agree that Pacquiao’s face will be bruised up. I really hope that Margarito wins or at the very least look good in defeat…and a rematch, why not ??

  11. Manny will deplore the day that he agreed to fight Margarito .I deeply believe that manny’s face will be deformed and unrecognizable after the fight ,for the unremitting punishment that wil
    be afflicted by the Tornado.
    Tony has faced more formidable oppositions than manny ;therefore,Tony is more experienced
    and confident .
    manny’s face after his fight with Marqueze was swollen and bruised .I am wondering how his face will look after fighting the Tornado who is stronger ,bigger,more aggressive and busier .
    I profoundly believe that the upset will transpire
    on Nov 13 ;in fact, I believe that the Tornado
    will DOMINATE manny and overwhelm his with his punches .
    The Tornado is brewing .Hahahahahahahahahaha
