It’s Been Confirmed, Antonio Margarito vs. Manny Pacquiao.
As we stated on our previous article, Margarito will face Pacquiao in Monterrey, Mexico. The WBC currently ranks Margarito #1 and the bout will be for the vacant WBC title at 154lbs.
The Tecate Box Tour hit Tijuana, MX, on Wednesday evening and to make its presence known, it invited former three time welterweight Antonio Margarito, former IBF light flyweight champion Ulises “Archie” Solis and former WBC interim super featherweight champion Humberto “Betillo” Gutierrez.
The fighters along with the Tecate girls paraded around the city of Tijuana in a caravan inviting all those who came out to greet them to the Tecate Box Tour which will continue to thru Sunday the 25th.
Tonight, Saturday July 24, on Televisa, Baja Boxing will present “Full Impact”, where four WBC FECARBOX titles will be disputed.
Whoop his azzzz Antonio, And show him how we “MEXICANOS” do it , homeboy.

I know a lot of people don’t like the idea. Many people say Margarito doesn’t deserve the fight, blah blah blah. I personaly like this fight. The hell with Mayweather and his ego. Pacquiao is considered the man right now. Can he be as effective at 154 lbs though ?? It’s interesting to see what the extra weight will do now. As we have seen in the previous 24/7 HBO shows, he was forced to eat more than usual so he could bulk up to 147 lbs. I still think he’s a natural 140 pounder. I am curious to see what he can do at 154 lbs, if anything…

this is the kind of fight the boxing fans need right now, im so happy for margarito, its his time to shine once again with no plaster on his hand only on his face.lol.
I think its going to slug fest, both Margarito and Pacman are brawlers. Cant wait.
I am so delighted with this news .I tried to envision what will happened when the two sluggers face each other on Nov 13 and came to the conclusion that Pacman will when the fight in the late round by TKO or by a unanimous decision .Unless Margarito decides to
prove to the entire world that he is the man of the welterweight.
This fight will be very challenging because it’s a one time opportunity for Margarito to prove that he is talented fighter .It’s also a great opportunity for him to quell all the rumors about him wearing
a loaded gloves throughout his career as a pro boxer .
For Manny ,I think that this fight will accord him chance to send an empatic statement that he is the only P4P boxer on this planet .
