You have to love social networks, Erik Morales posted on his Facebook page that he has suffered an injury to his right hand which will postpone his scheduled fight against Vicente Escobedo on July 17 in Tijuana.

Morales initially suffered the injury in his comeback fight against Jose Alfaro and re injured it while training in Temoaya, Mexico.

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Golden Boy hosted a press conference in Mexico City to officially announce his upcoming fight against Luis “Principito” Cuello of Argentina on July 10 which is taking place in his home town of Guadalajara.

After Antonio Tarver called Danny Green out, the IBO Cruiserweight champion Green (29-3, 26 KO’s) showed no signs of interest and moved. Now he will defend his title against fellow Australian Paul Briggs (26-3, 18 KO’s) on July 21st at the Entertainment Centre in Sydney, New South Wales.

The 37 year old Green will be making the third defense of the title he won in the US from Argentinean Julio Cesar Dominguez in August 2009 with a fifth round stoppage.
