I was watching the replay of Saturday’s “Boxing After Dark” and I have to admit Bob Papa and Max Kellerman are awesome commentators, especially Max Kellerman, he’s always straight forward and well spoken. Could it be that his career as a young rapper lead him to his successful career?
Many don’t know but in 1994 Max Kellerman used to be a bald old school rapper. You could compare him to Eminem, being rejected by most fellow rappers because of his race but like Eminem says, “To all the people who never gave love and continue to deny me ‘cuz of what I look like: suck my dick you fucks!!!”
Here is a rare video of Max Kellerman rapping with his younger brother Sam Kellerman, Sam died on October 17, 2004. The body of Max’s brother Sam was found near a hammer in his Hollywood apartment. As a result of the ensuing investigation, former boxer James Butler was arrested and charged with Sam’s murder. He later confessed to the murder and was given a 29 year sentence.
Whatever the reason is, Max Kellerman is doing fine job.

Max is my favorite boxing commentator at this moment.
In my opinion he has passed Jim Lampley as the best commentator in the sport and I enjoy very much to hear his opinions on fights and fighters, where most of the time he is right on the money when dissecting what a fighter is doing/not doing on a fight or expressing a discomfort with how the fight was judged.
Met Max @ the Margarito-Cotto fight he is a very nice and down to earth person,He is one of the best commentators out there in the sport of Boxing
This my opinion and I am really careless about what you think about me because you don’t me .For you to make such a comment ,it means that you’re so shallow and unsophisticated .
The guy didn’t have the audacity to say that the win was unjust .
If we had more honest commentators that Max
,boxing will be more exciting and competitive .
You can say and accentuate the truth without being disrespectful .
What’s wrong if Max said “thanks for your effort in participating with this event ,your performance was really mediocre and contrary to what you had promised to offer .Do you think that you destevr the win .Of course he will say Yes.then Max should respond by saying I really think Kotelnic won the fight but this what judges said

Is this hard to say to tell Alexander that you really didn’t win this fight and it was gifted to you
because the fight took

Wow, love boxing sounds mad lol. I see your point bro but the guy has a job to do. He cant just insult a fighter and say he looked like sh-t. Max new Devon lost that fight, You can state your opinion as a commentator but you dont go around disrespecting people. Although I think it would be cool to call out some judges and see what the they were thinking when they scored a fight like that one. I’m sure alot of commentators would like to tell mayweather to stop being such a pu–y, But sometimes they have to hold their tonges. I think the guy is pretty straight forward and is about as honest as he can be, at least most of the time and with out insults, disrespect. I think he’s better than those two clowns we have to listen to every time we order a ppv fight.
I’m a boxer myself and even though Max didn’t tell Alexander straight up, he did his job and he made it clear he didn’t agree with the decision. He is always ripping the judges and he isn’t worried about losing his job cus he works for HBO, not King/Arum/Oscar so stf. One day Max will be talking about my belts and you’ll be watching. He is a hard working dude whos done what he had to do to make it, even if his rap you can hear he loves boxing…thats all he talks about.

I really lost respect for the guy be because he
was so reluctant to speak up the truth about Alexander not deserving the win .He was afflicted with aphasia when he interviewed Alexander and to dissembled himself and expressing the fact that Alexander’s performane was very mediocre .
Kotelnik was robbed big time because he faught
at Alexander backyard .
Boxing is losing it’s beauty because of people like Max because he has the privilege to speak up the truth ,yet he didn’t .He is a hypocrite and only speaks the truth when he likes .

You want tell me that Max didn’t see that Kotelnic was robbed and Alexander was given the win without even landing enough punches .
Boxing is a travesty because of people like Max who is so reluctant to speak up the truth not to lose his job or hurt someone’s feelings.
I know that he is articulate and good at talking ,but the problem that didn’t have courage to speak up the truth .He is so crafty in talking ,but his hypocrisy is fooling me.
Max,speak up the truth get out of boxing’s business .Selling cars will be a great job for someone like you.
