WBA interim super featherweight champion Jorge “Coloradito” Solis recently stated that he is ready to defend his title against Jorge “Golden Boy” Linares aslong as the check has five zeros attached to it.
Solis made it clear in a post fight interview after he successfully defended his title against Puerto Rico’s Jose Santiago that he does not fear the former champion.
Golden Boy Promotions, Linares’ promoter is anxious to begin talks with Promociones Zanfer who helm Solis’ career for a bout later this year.
“I am not afraid of anybody. Linares is a good fighter and I am ready to face anybody,” Solis stated. “All we have to do is agree on the terms and a good purse. It would be a tough fight where I risk a lot and that I why I would deserve a good purse.”
