During a detailed investigation, Joe Calzaghe was recorded by a spy camera hidden in an apartment in London’s Mayfair when he confessed of using cocaine. The 37-year-old former undefeated world champion admitted he takes cocaine and gave advice on where to buy it and who his supplier was.
Reporters caught up with Calzaghe after leaving a night club last week and described him as being wide-eyed and his nose constantly running- one of the common signs of heavy cocaine use.
The investigation started when one of Calzaghe’s friends was concerned about his coke addiction as they urged him to stop but he refused too.
According to Calzaghe’s close friends he began to use cocaine after his retirement.
