Local Champs Invited to Mingle
Southern California boxing fans are in for a treat THIS Sunday, December 11 at Rudy’s LA restaurant in Los Angeles, Calif.
The World Boxing Council (WBC) Legends of Boxing group is hosting their “The Heart of a Champion” Toy Drive and Holiday Party with the champs.
Invited guests include: Roberto Diaz, Herman Montes, Art Frias, Daniel Ponce de Leon, Israel Vazquez, Danny “Little Red” Lopez, Sindy Amador, Mauricio Herrera, Ray Corona, Edward Armstrong-Scott, Mike Anchondo, Michael Nunn, Greg Puente, Paul Banke, Josesito Lopez, Doug Fischer, Sergio Jimenez, Cynthia Martinez and more.
It looks to be a knockout day as the official invite says “Mingle to the Christmas Jingle” as your break bread with the prizefighters.
Rudy Tellez, Jaime Ochoa, Sal Gonzales, Bonnie Richardson, emcee Gene Aguilera and more have been working tirelessly to ensure a KO event with the boxers, their families, friends and fans alike.
I’ve attended several of their past events and the mood is always festive and the vibe is always fun. And what better way to celebrate Christmas and the holidays by giving back to the community and donating toys to underserved children in the community.
Tickets are 20.00 each plus a toy and the price includes meal and beverage.
