Paul Willaims in a Motorcycle Accident and could be Paralyzed

According to ATLANTA news Paul Williams who was schedule to fight Saul Alvarez for the WBC Light Middleweight title Sept. 15 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Was in a motorcycle crash near Atlanta Sunday morning. Williams is likely paralyzed from the waist down.
Manager George Peterson told News 12 that he’s in the hospital with a surgery scheduled for Wednesday. That surgery will be to stabilize the healthy upper half of his spine by putting a protective wall around it.

  4. as a previous owner of a bike and one that totaled his bike. I forget how lucky I was and how serious the consequences can be. Chico Corrales and now maybe the end of Paul Williams career. Thoughts and hopes for a speedy recovery as well.

  5. Holy shit, this really does suck. Wow. Athletes, you need to be extra careful on bikes. Really hoping he can walk again and live a normal life. Sounds like boxing is over for him……..
