If his last fights weren’t ridiculous, his captain hook costume is. Seriously what is wrong with Roy Jones?
At one point he was good considering he was the legendary eight-time world champion but that was many years ago. Now Jones decided to leave his Hot Springs Village Erik Estrada sold him to collect another retirement check on October 7 when he takes on Danny Santiago at the Pensacola Civic Center.
If you want to donate towards Jones’ retirement, tickets priced at $128, $103, $78, $53 and $28 go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 8 and will be available at all Ticketmaster locations, the Pensacola Civic Center box office and Ticketmaster.com.
Maybe Roy will retire when Antonio Tarver makes his comeback
Roy Might still have some in the tank but he has to fix his style with his new slower Reflexes. He has to adapt himself to the fact that he cant rely on his Greatness and body fitness anymore. This guy isnt Done boxing he still has a chance but he will never be as good as he used to be since his brain got injured a couple times now he is more likely to get knocked out with punches that couldnt bother him back in the day.
Geez somebody is just gonna have tor force this guy out of the ring. Wherever he fights I hope its empty and not aired on tv someone has got to get through to him that he is finished. I’d hate to see him seriously injured before he gives it up for good which seems like the only way he will stop.
