WBA heavyweight champion David Haye held a press conference on yesterday at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London to officially announce his upcoming title defense against former Olympic gold medalist Audley ‘A-Force’ Harrison. The fight will take place at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England on November 13.
Haye called the contest the “biggest fight the UK has seen in years” and it marks a return to the venue where he defeated John Ruiz in his first defence in April, but Harrison believes that his epic journey in the sport is ready to peak with a World title victory.
“I don’t believe Audley deserves a chance but enough people want to see him finally destroyed, that is why this fight is happening,” Haye stated. “When I land my left hand on him he is done!”
