Yesterday at the Millennium Biltmore in Los Angeles, Top Rank hosted a press conference to officially announce “Latin Fury 15” “, which will be televised on Top Rank Pay-Per-View, Saturday, June 26 from the Alamodome in San Antonio,Texas.
Undefeated, son of the legend, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. from Culiacan, Mexico will take on Ireland’s John Duddy and Jorge Arce will take on Eric Morel. Triple world champion Marco Antonio Barrera will also be part of this big PPV card as he takes on Adailton De Jesus from Brazil.
Salvador Sanchez II will face an opponent to be announced.

This will be Chavez’s first real test. Although I feel Ray Sanchez gave him all he could handle.
Eric Morel is not exactly in his prime but I think he has enough to beat Arce.
I’m not thrilled about M.A. Barrera fighting again. His skills are probably still there but he’s a part time fighter now. Boxing is not a good place for part time fighters. Good luck to him. He’s one of me favorite featherweights of all time.
