An Update on Edwin Valero
Last week it was reported that Valero was arrested for a lodged complaint that he had beaten his wife. His wife was hospitalized for a broken rib that penetrated her lung and multiple bruises. Valero, with his huge tattoo of the Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez on his chest, claims his wife fell down the stairs causing her injuries and blames his enemies in his homeland for providing false statements because of his political views.
Valero’s wife refused to press charges therefore the Venezuelan knockout artist who holds a perfect record of 27 wins and 27 knockouts was set free but not before seeing a judge where he confessed to being an alcoholic.
The judge sent him for six months of rehab. He was transported to a psychiatric center in San Juan de Dios but because there have been anonymous threats, Valero was transported to the facility wearing a bulletproof vest and head gear.
It wasn’t Valero’s first time behind bars, he was allegedly arrested for caring a loaded weapon in his car some years ago.
He was also arrested for driving under the influence and to make things worse he had a brain injury after a motorcycle accident in 2001 in witch he failed an MRI scan and because of that, he’s not allowed to fight in the Unites States.
To this day Valero denies all accusations but the whispers persist.
Oblitirate? Yeah right!
If Valero could get passed on JMMarquez he may be able to oblitirate Manny otherwise he should continue boxing with low-class boxers.

are accusing Valero of a lot of unwarranted things .
Only God know if he beat his wife. I’ll give him the benefit of a doubt he didn’t do it until its proven otherwise. Who i think Edwin Valero should fight next is Manny Pacquiao before he gets himself in real trouble with the law outside of the ring. He has a Awesome record 27-0 with 27 KOs why not let that fight not happen. He wants that fight bad. Style makes fights let them get it on now why not. Great fight i believe if Velero keeps out of trouble outside of the ring.I want that fight to happen. A classic in the making in the near future Edwin Velero vs Manny Pacquiao the Superfight. A huge money fight.
