Undefeated Omar Chavez, son of the legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., will participate in his first fight
of 2010 on February 20th in Acapulco, MX, against Rodrigo Juarez in a welterweight six round bout.
In the main event, Giovanny Segura (22-1-1, 18KO) will defend his WBA jr. flyweight title against Walter Tello (14-3, 6KO) of Panama.
In other news, former world champion Ulises “Archie” Solis will face off against Filipino Bert Batawang in an IBF elimination bout on March 6th in Guadalaja, MX.
Ok Omar, just like your brother, it’s time to step it up in competition. Both have great potential but please fight better opposition.
