Klitschko vs. Valuev ?

After Vitali Klitschko (39-2, 37 KOs), from the Ukraine beat Kevin Johnson, from the USA last weekend in Switzerland it seems everyone wants a piece of the Klitschko brothers. Former WBA heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev (50-2, 34 KOs) is calling out the WBC heavyweight champion.

“I wish to fight against Vitali Klitschko,” said the Russian Giant. “It’ll be an entertaining fight. It’ll be more interesting than when I fought David Haye. The whole fight he just ran from me. Vitali is a great champion. I guarantee it’ll be a big fight. Vitali, I’m ready to fight. Are you?”

Nikolay Valuev lost his WBA world title against David Haye by majority decision last month. It’s been said Klitschko wants David Haye, but if Haye continues to duck him he will start negotiations for a fight against Valuev in 2010, I don’t blame Vitali for going after Haye, Haye talked a lot of smack.

With all th hype and BS talk And acts Haye did for that fight I don’t think it was cancel by promoters, I should have been more interesting than the fight with Kevin, I do hope it happens, but I don’t see him beating Vladimir no way, he could have a chanse with Vitali, and about the “giant fight” Holyfield had won that a few months ago, same boring fight but they gave it to the giant.

    So who knows maybe he has what it takes to beat Vitali, I just think that right now with his big mouth his a joke, maybe I’m wrong , will see.

Haye is no joke..I beleive that the fight with klitschko was called off because no one was really interested in the fight ..They the boxing promoters and tv felt that if haye was better known, then haye vs either klitschko brothers would sell much easier ..so what better than to put haye in with valuev (who nobody gives a shit about ).and have a better platform to work from..already haye vs klitschko is ready to be signed..and the public momentum is building..regardless of what you think boxing needs someone like david haye..he has charisma and is a true talent..there is no way haye would run from anyone..let alone the mechanical klitschko brothers..and going by the fight with kevin johnson,,i don,t see david haye having any trouble beating vitali klitschko and more easily the other brother..I repeat again david haye the next undisputed heavyweight champion..rosco

  4. Haye is a joke, talks to much but then when is time to back up his talk he pulls pulls of the fight, yeah that’s the guy we need to save the heavyweights, I don’t think so.
