Lightweight Luis Ramos (13-0, 7 KO’s) remained unbeaten as he won a six round unanimous decision over veteran Cristian Favela (16-21-6, 9 KO’s) at Club Nokia at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA. It was all Ramos as he was the more effective fighter, landing two-punch combinations from the outside. Favela had success on the inside, but Ramos was the clear winner. All three judges scored the bout 60-54 in favor of Ramos.

Lightweight Karl Dardan (5-0, 2 KOs) remained unbeaten with a six round unanimous decision over Renell Griffin. Dardan was at his best fighting from outside, while Griffin (5-2-1, 1 KO) did his best work on the inside. However, it was Dardan who controlled most of the action throughout the action-filled bout. All three judges had Dardan winning the bout 59-55, 59-55, and 58-56.

Featherweight Charles Huerta (12-1, 6 KOs) won a hard-fought six round unanimous decision over Rodrigo Aranda. The veteran Aranda (8-11-2, 2 KOs)gave Huerta all he could handle in the beginning before Huerta began to dominate the action. Referee David Denkin deducted a point from Aranda in the fourth round for hitting Huerta in the back of the head. Huerta won on all three judges’ scorecards, 59-54, 58-55, and 57-56.

Unbeaten featherweight Ronny Rios (7-0, 3 KOs) needed just 38 seconds to annihilate veteran Manuel Sarabia (16-30-9, 10 KOs).

Lightweight Eric Godoy stopped Javier Solis (0-3) in the second round of a scheduled four round bout. Godoy, who was making his professional debut, dropped Solis at the end of the first round in the sloppy fight. An accumulation of punches on a hurt Solis prompted referee David Denkin to stop the bout at 2:22.

Lightweight Juan Sandoval won his professional debut as he stopped Victor Martinez in the first round of a scheduled four round fight. Martinez (0-2) ran into a left hook that dropped him onto the canvas. Referee Ray Corona did not bother to count as he waved the fight over at 2:40.
