Wladamir Klitschko will be fighting Jean Marc Mormeck on 12/10 in Dusseldorf Germany. Recent faceoff pictures have surfaced and the size difference is unbelievable. For some reason, this face off makes the height differences between fighters look unbelievable. Although the Klistchko’s have recently fought much smaller men, Mormeck looks much, much smaller. Mormeck, who has 3 heavyweight decisions, wins against small heavyweights. The tallest heavyweight he has battled was Timur Ibragimov who stood at 6’3”. Wladamir is 6’6”. Mormeck is sub 6’.
An intriguing match-up, as Mormeck is considered a top cruiserweight more than a heavyweight contender, it should be interesting to see what comes of this fight. Klitschko has dominated all opponents. It is hard to see Mormeck do anything but get dominated by Klitschko. Regardless, it’s nice to see one of the best pound for pound fighters continue to stay active and fight whomever comes his way. Hopefully he fights long enough to give Robert Helenius a chance, probably one of the future’s best heavyweight contenders.
