Vitali Klitschko had another easy test saturday in Germany. Juan Carlos Gomez was game for a round or two but ultimately could not handle the big rights of Vitali and had no ammo to hurt the 6’7” Champ. Gomez stormed out in round one and landed some bothersome shots. Round 2 saw Vitali get it together and land some rights. By round 4 Gomez had a swollen and cut right eye due to the pressure. In round 5 Vitali had a cut on his head and continued to pepper Gomez. Round 7 was a very bad one for Gomez as he was knocked down by a nice right hand and the fight almost ended. Two rounds later in round 9, Klitschko took Gomez out TKO style and ended a rather uneventful, clutch filled affair. Klitschko is now 37-2 with 36 KO’s. He should fight his brother next but they say they will never fight. Wladamir is 52-3 with 46 KO’s. Say what you will about either Klitschko but who is going to beat one? Arreola, Povetkin, Haye???
