Manny Pacquiao will meet ring rival Juan Manuel Marquez on December 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

This marquee matchup will the the fourth time the two will meet. Both are looking for a defining victory as the world will watch this HBO PPV showdown promoted by Top Rank. With just a week to go before the warriors explode in the ring, Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao, his Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, famed boxing promoter Bob Arum and Team Pacman all convened on Wednesday at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood for a special Media Day Workout.

During the Media Day, the “Fighter of the Decade” looked strong and ready as he faces his Mexican nemesis. The building was packed with media from all over the world. No one draws a crowd like Pacquiao. While holding down my spot near the ring, I caught up with writers and photographers who came from near and far to see Manny work out and address the media. Some had arrived at the SoCal gym hours in advance, all in anticipation of capturing the speedy southpaw in action. Several told me they lined up at 8 a.m. as to make sure they didn’t miss their chance to see and talk to Pacman. Like I said, nobody can draw such worldwide attention that Manny Pacquiao does.

Before his workout, I also had a chance for a quick greeting with Manny as he took center ring in the legendary boxing gym. Hear what he has to say about his upcoming match in the link below.

Fans of both superstars anticipate this Act 4 and Round 37 as the two boxers lock horns on the night of December 8. After one split draw and two Pacquiao victories, Team Marquez says they are looking for the KO win. And no doubt Team Pacquiao has plans of their own in thwarting JMM’s victory and sealing another win for Manny.

So what will the outcome of this fourth war bring?

Both camps are hungrier than ever for this W in this heated competition. For Pacman, the month of December could be a memorable one as both he and his promoter will celebrate their birthdays this month.

And for the famous Congressman and power puncher, his loyal fans are counting down the days till the showdown. There’s always something to be said about classic rivalries and trilogies–and now this fourth battle between the two. None other than Mike Tyson, himself, recently chimed in on this intriguing clash. During his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, the former heavyweight champ said he thinks it’s a great fight and “people would still watch Pacquiao vs. Marquez fight when they’re 50!”

Pacquiao, 33, and Marquez, 39, promise to bring the fire when they face off for the fourth (and final?) time.

Will Juan Manuel finally taste victory against his nemesis? Or will the dynamo from the Philippines reign supreme once again?

WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN?
