The proposed March 13 Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather super fight could end up in an NFL football stadium instead of Las Vegas, the normal home of mega fights. Which is a smart move by Bob Arum, the MGM Grand has a seating capacity of 17,157 and with the high demand of this fight, you need something way bigger. Bob Arum has said they will officially announce both the fight and the venue Saturday, December 12. Arum was planning to announce it today for his 78th birthday, but decided to change it for this weekend instead.

Pacman’s going to win the fight if it happens by KO. Mayweather is undefeated because he has ducked every real welterwieght out there! He only fights smaller guys moving up to welterweight. As for the Marquez fight, mayweather came in overwieght, and marquez has never been a welterwieght, so he was slow. You can’t compare that fight with the pacman/marquez fight because pacman was the smaller fighter and the weightclass was smaller. Pcaman has moved up to welterweight and has faught the number 1 cuys in that devision and has KO’d each of them. I’ll explain to you two reasons why i believe Pacman is going to lose. 1.) Pacman has been out boxed on a couple of different occassions. It’s a NO brainer to whom is going to win if Pacman decides to box w/Floyd. 2.) Floyd has the BEST defense allowing opponents to land few significant punches. Not to mention Pacman has no fluent head movement which can potentially be a victim of the check left hook demonstrated against Hatton. His reflexes are extremely responsive as well. People mention Pacman’s level of stamina, in training Floyd spars three 15 minute rounds excluding his additional workouts. So he too has an immense amount of stamina as well. The only way I see Pacman winning is if he lands 1 lucky shot to put Floyd out. Otherwise he’s going to be humiliated like all of Floyd’s previous opponents!!

BROWN) he already lost before in his carrer, i say yes its true, those days were his amature days, when he cant even have a boxing shorts to wear on his fight. when he cant even send money to his sick mother in the province worrying about the situation on his fight day, that was his first lost. the second was his fight in Thailand when his weight can no longer fit to the weight division he is fighting for becoz of his growing body he was push to drop weight and drought, that was the second lost. I am for Manny to win by knockout againts Moneyweather. The following are my own analysis:
l. Speed- both fighters has the speed, Manny is offensive with elusive angular foot movement ,unorthodox fake movements using both hands at the same strength . Moneyweather is defensive awaiting for any opportunity to open with an accurate counter punches which he has proven to previous fighters not in the same caliber of Manny. Manny will train more flexy movements with Freddie Roach to upset Money. If someone say Money is a smarter, Manny is more than he is,nowadays that he has been fighting successively against bigger opponents.Money has not been fighting for so long until recently fought against Marquez in an inferior weight, in split decission.
2. Reflexis- both are excellent. Manny by instict has this and very much more developed and he is hard to hit, in fact Freddie Roach offered to anybody who can knockdown Manny in a spar.Money has the instinct and smart but has to regain training to match the speed of Manny, he has been on retirement for the past 2 years.
3. Lastly, in any fight such as in boxing or martial arts, according to Bruce Lee, the best defense is offense and Manny has this quality in fact he is now called the Bruce Lee in Boxing.LIghtning speed.Anyway let us see on March 13.

The only issue is it’s going to be more difficult to land clean effective shots on Floyd for the simple fact Cotto is flat footed. Floyd has a continuous body movement that transitions into a rhythm which can potentially be dangerous for any opponent. I wish the best for both parts and may the better boxer prevail!!

Brown i completely concur w/what your saying..1st and foremost im going to go out on the limb and state i believe Floyd is THE fastest boxer of this generation, w/Pacquiao right behind him. I have Mayweather by knock out. Juts because of the way Pacquio style of fighting. As I mention before he loves too bounce in and out, but the problem is he exposes himself too much, easy for Mayweather style too counter him and catch him coming in.
It’s like going fishing you have your bate and when the fish takes the bate it gets cought, same thing Mayweather is going too do too pacquio scoop him up like a fish but really punish him at the same time, I’ll be generous I’ll give maybe Manny Pacquio too win 2 rounds in the fight. Because I visualize Mayweather feeling him out during the first 2 rounds after that it’s time too catch the fish and scoop him up.
