“I am in the mountains since December 26th. I began to prepare in Los Mochis, my hometown, and I know that I will be in great shape for my fight against Angkota,” Arce stated. “If I lose, I am going to retire. In any case, this is my last year as a professional fighter.”

“Angky tends to stand up in his stance which is an advantage for me. I will be able to give the fans a great show,” Arce continued. “I think my experience is what his going to help but I expect a tough fight. Angkota is aggressive, they call him the ‘Time Bomb’. My plan is to go to the body to test his conditioning. Like I mentioned before, if he beats me, this fight automatically becomes my farewell fight.”

Arce also mentioned that once he retires he plans to be a boxing commentator for TV AZTECA.

“I have already discussed my retirement with my family. I have two daughters and one more on

the way,” “Travieso” said. “We must accept the fact that everything goes up must come down and my moment is near.”

Training at a high altitude has not been easy for the popular figther. The fact that he misses his family does not help.

“I miss my daughters so I know that the end of my career is near. I don’t want to be a stepping stone for anybody but I do want to finish my career with a world title so that the fans can see me reach the end in a dignified manner,” Arce concluded.

  1. Look man, we can all agree to disagree, I love to have a discussion with someone that doesn’t agree with me, as long as is instructive and respectful and we both express our points of view in that same way.
But most of the time you’ve been cussing here and there and at the end it makes the blog and the discussions in it look bad and hard to read and interact, in other forums you would have been banned by now.

Still man, I got nothing against you, hope we can both agree to disagree like I had with others in the past, without having to use foul language, it makes it easier for people to comment and express their opinion on the great sport of boxing.
    Peace !

  2. This is the point of this whole thing Tijuana .I don’t
insult the Blog or Edgar .I appreciate this blog and the person who make it available for us .this how I express my opinion and if you can’t tolerate it you do not need to call me kid or boy .come on man.

  3. Your calling me buffoon and Idiot? and then you cry why are you getting deleted?.. Your going on every single post I do and talk trash about the article, the fighter or whatever.

I guess insulting everyone is the way your express your opinion, you don’t bring up any good points to discuss, I didn’t insult you, I asked u what’s wrong with you, maybe calling you kid was insulting to you but that’s just how you look when you express your self in that way.

  4. Edgar,I am expressing my opinion so what’s
the problem ,I was insulted first by this buffoon and I am getting blamed for it .this is not
about me and this buffoon .I only made
my comments according to what I felt and this idiot started a vendetta.I am I suppose to agree with idiot to keep access to your Blog?!come on man!!

  5. Edgar ,you are wrongfully backing this guy up.go back and see who bagan the insult.he construed my comments if it was directed toward him.
if you looked at my comments u will see that it wasn’t directed toward this idiot ,so I don’t know
why are you are advocating for him!!!!

  6. By the way, that’s not an opinion, that’s trolling, just like most of your comments in here, have fun with the blog boy.

  7. @Boxingfan I had to delete your comment you’re using to much foul language, please keep it clean or I will block your IP address from leaving any comments.

    Thanks for understanding.

  8. Full support for Arce, one more shot, as the great Cus D’Amato once said: A good champion always has one good fight left.
