“Travieso” Arce Goes Against Briceño and Morales on the Same Night!

It has been annouced in Nicaragua that Evert Briceño will challenge WBO flyweight champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce on March 27th in Mexico City. Although no official statement has been made by Zanfer Promotions, Prodesa, who controls the career of Briceño announced it in their native country.

The twelve round championship bout will mark the second time that Briceño challenges for a title. In 2005, Briceño faced Fernando Montiel for the same title he will disputing later this month. Briceño dropped a unanimous decision to Montiel after accepting the bout with a two week notice.

The Arce-Briceño bout goes against the return of Erik “Terrible” Morales when he faces Jose Alfaro also of Nicaragua.

The Morales-Alfaro bout will be held in Monterrey, MX.
