It is an exciting time at Myboxingfans.com. We have just started a competition between myboxingfans.com team members and are looking to engage with the fans.

On July 24th, Amir Khan and Zab Judah will face off for an exciting showdown at junior welterweight. Within myboxingfans.com, this will be the first event in which each team member will state a prediction that will affect each of our own records. At the end of each quarter, a team winner will be announced; one who has the best prediction record and most points.

The ultimate goal is to get you, our fans involved. Until then, we would really like to hear your predictions and work with our poll to see which team member you believe has the right prediction.

The way the competition works is like this.

Before a fight, each team member will predict what the outcome of the fight will be. This will be published during fight week. Once the fight happens, a record will be updated for each member. The following week, you will see the updated records and who’s prediction was correct.

Each team member will generate a record of wins and losses. If their fighter wins, they get a W. If not, they get an L. Draws result in a draw.

Each prediction does get more specific. This is where our point system comes into play.

The point system looks like this:
+1 for UD or KO
+2 for predicted KO rounds (i.e., I predict Williams will be knocked
out between 6-8, 3 round spacing)
+3 for KO exact round, MD decision, or Draw

The following are the predictions for the Khan-Judah bout. Let’s hear what you guys think and we look forward to your involvement and excitement in this great competition.

  1. Khan by UD . . . but Zab is very much in it. He’s a live underdog the whole way through, looks in great shape and everyone knows that Khan’s whiskers aren’t the best.

  2. I’m done predicting…I predicted:

Lewis to KO McCall in ’94
Klitschko to KO Sanders in ’03
Lewis to KO Rahman in ’01
Tyson to KO Douglas in ’90

    I’m done with predictions…

  3. Judah wicked uppercut round 6 just to rattle some cages here lol if Judah can’t get it done by then then Khan cruises to ud or late stoppage due to a cut on Judah

  4. King khan reign supreme .I got khan by UD or late stoppage ,but I have the presentiment that Judah could conjur up something that will surprise us .
Let wait and see .It is almost there

  5. Everyone agrees it is going to be a good fight, but I’m going to say Judah will win the fight by decision. Looks like he has really focused on his training for this fight. He know that he time in boxing is limited and will bring it all. Yes Khan is a good fight and will bring it too, but Judah will prevail this fight. Khan will go on to have a great career in boxing.

  6. Good match up but Khan is younger, bigger, faster, and hungrier, and it doesn’t hurt that he has probably the best trainer in boxing in his corner. Khan with an easier win than most are predicting.

  7. So far it looks like everyone agrees with Khan Winning… Its going to be a good fight you cant count Zab out..
