Due to the holidays, there hasn’t been any good boxing news lately. Many fighters are spending time with their families. Oscar De La Hoya welcomed the new year in Puerto Rico with Millie’s family. The “Golden Boy” shared pictures of him roasting a pig as they sang around a bon fire. Carol Froch spent his holiday with his gorgeous girlfriend, Rachael. Manny Pacquiao spent his holidays with his wife and children in Japan and Australia, according to Pacquiao’s adviser, Michael Koncz. Pacquiao is scheduled to return to the Philippines on January 10 and he will be coming back to America on February to begin his tour with Shane Mosley.
Now that the holidays are over, the good news is that boxing should be back in full force. The bad news, December was all about buying the presents. This month, the credit card bills arrive.
