ESPN’S “FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS” BRINGS BOXING EXCITEMENT TO FT. LAUDERDALE WITH THE SENSATIONAL JULIO DIAZ vs. VICTOR MANUEL CAYO
WHAT:Cerveza Tecate, as part of its efforts to bring the excitement of boxing directly to all the adult fans, presents “Friday Night Fights” this July 31 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. The program will be broadcast live on ESPNDeportes, ESPN2 and ESPN360.com
The main bout of the night will showcase Mexican Julio Diaz (36-5, 26 KOs) and Victor Manuel Cayo (22-0, 15 KOs) from the Dominican Republic in ten junior welterweight rounds.
The “Friday Night Fights” card also will feature Carl Davis Drummond (26-1, 20 KO) vs. Derric Rossy (21-2, 12 KO), 10 rounds, heavyweight; Jonathan González vs. Jorge Barajas, 4 rounds, welterweight; Danny O’Connor vs. James Helmes, 6 rounds, junior welterweight; Donovan George vs. Emmanuel González, 6 rounds, super middleweight; as well as Artur Szpilka vs. Josh Harris, 4 rounds, cruiserweight; and Luis Franco vs. Kato Ferguson, 4 rounds, junior lightweight.
