All Star Boxing Hosts Full Card of Fights
It was a packed house on Saturday night as All Star Boxing hosted their “Battle of the Rising Stars” fight night at the storied Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
Here are some exclusive snaps from the event which featured a whopping 12 bouts of action. The venue was buzzing, the fighters were ready and the crowd was lively. Longtime promoters Ed Holmes and Pete Hironaka have been hosting All Star Boxing and MMA cards for several years now. Fans in the Southland know to expect competitive matches and some fierce competition.
An the crowd was whipped into a frenzy as they roared the prizefighters on during this March 26 bash. Standout bouts cheered on by the audience included a knockout win by Ronald Mixon over Jose Jesus Hurtado, a heavyweight female fight (Laura Ramsey vs. Keela Byars), Chicago’s Joshua Greer Jr. getting a W over hometown hero Xavier Montelongo Jr., and Alex “Chino” Reyes winning a regional belt in his clash against Brian Jones.
Esteemed ring emcee Jim FitzGerald introduced several VIP guests and luminaries seated ringside including actor/singer/musician Frank Stallone, SoCal warrior Aron “El Asesino” Martinez, heavyweight Gerald Washington (fighting in April), pro female fighter Seniesa Estrada (fighting on the Gennady Golovkin undercard), veteran fighters Oscar “The Boxer” Muniz and Jesus “Maestrito” Garcia, trainer/sculptor Steve Harpst, amateur boxing brothers Hector Lopez and Adam Lopez, amateur boxer Lisa Porter, actor David Koechner and more.
All Star Boxing’s next show will be May 20 at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello.
