Team Valero has now come out on record to state that at no time has a contract been signed between the WBC lightweight champion Edwin Valero and Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao.
Valero states that it was all an understanding and his words where taken out of context by a reporter who was trying to reach for an exclusive.
Now it was reported that Valero and his team have sat down with Bob Arum of Top Rank and agreed to the date of Valero’s next bout being July 25th against an opponent to be determined.
