Rumor is that Gary Shaw Productions and Golden Boy Promotions have come to an agreement for an HBO fight on June 19 in Rancho Mirage, California, between Timothy Bradley and Marcos Maidana at 140 pounds. Sources say Maidana is currently suffering back injuries and Maidana’s management is asking to postpone that fight for July 17.

Another rumor is that former IBF/WBO light welterweight and undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah will take on undefeated Kazakh prospect Vitaly Demyanenko in late May or early June. The exact venue is still unknown.

An unbelievable rumor is that Edwin Valero was involved in a car accident in Merida, Venezuela last week and then fled the scene. There were no injuries but Valero allegedly was under the influence of alcohol. Valero had just been released a day before after 14 days of rehab following another incident. Authorities are now reconsidering whether or not they should send Valero to Cuba for further rehab. People have the right to be stupid. Some people abuse that privilege.

Rumor in the Philippines is that Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring in November and start training in September, that’s if he wins the upcoming May elections. If he loses, Pacquiao might return as early as September.

Rumors are that he might face Antonio Margarito or the winner of Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley.

  1. Jesus I agree what vick did and manny did were wrong…but on Vicks case it didn’t have to do with what he does for a living which is play football which we can’t really compare it to Margarito…he went into the fight with an intent to truly hurt someone and damage them for good…all I’m saying is boxing doesn’t revolve around margarito and there are too many good fighters in the welterweight class that he shouldn’t be given the top ranked fighter above everyone else…he needs to start from the bottom and work his way back up

  2. Margarito got what he deserved. He got caught, paid a fine, and served his suspension. Buit that’s it, what more can you ask from the guy ? Just like Michael Vick, just like Manny Ramirez. Let’s not not live in the past.

Anyway, Margarito vs Pacquiao may not be the best fight at the moment but he does belong with the rest of the top welterweights.

  3. They should be getting 6 figure payday and also putting their health at risk, we know this two will fight until the end, clearly here money is more important than health. They have taken years off their life with the trilogy and now they will knock some more.

  4. Margarito vs pacman is total bs…might as well give him Chavez jr he’s also under top rank…Bob needs to stop making these wack ass fights and start giving us our money worth…plus margarito doesn’t deserve any type of big payday after what he did…yes he knew what was going on…it’s obvious it was not the first time team Margarito has loaded their gloves before the fight…like I said I’m tired of watching these weak fights…I remeber when the only loaded thing in boxing were the undercards what happend to that?…ps if y’all want to watch a good fight May 22 Marquez/vasquez IV they should be getting the 6 figure paydays

  5. Margarito has the tolls to beat Pacquiao except speed. Margarito should rematch with Paul Williams after Williams recovers from the ass wuppin he got from Sergio Martinez.

Valero should get his head on straight and fight Amir Khan. Throw in Tim Bradley, Juan Diaz, Marcos Maidana, and Paul Malignaggi and have another Super Six Tournament in that division.

  6. Oh my Oh my, how the great ones have fallen and the small ones have gotten bigger, it’s funny how at this moment Pacquiao Vs Margarito may seem easier to do than Pacquiao Mayweather, We all know what happen with Pacquiao and Mayweather a few months go, of Mayweather wins against Mosley they will probably go back to the same issues with Pacquiao, if Mosley wins Mayweather will force an immediate rematch, so there goes the whole year for those two.
The easiest fight to make for Pacquiao and Arum is Margarito, both are with Bob and even if Margarito doesn’t have a license, he could probably get one in any other state other than California, and Pacquiao wont fight in California anyways because of taxes.

It’s just funny how everything can change so quickly, when Pacquiao was fighting DLH someone in HBO mention would it be to much to have Pacquiao fight Margarito and Merchant that would be to much for Pacquiao, now everyone wants Pacquiao and it would be the best thing that could happen to Margarito to land that kind of a fight after the fiasco and the issues that he still has.
Nothing is forever, one minute your on the top of the hill, next one you can fall all the way down, same thing goes the other way.
