It’s funny how anyone who loses in a stunning fashion finds any excuse to point fingers as to why they lost. Miguel Cotto and his fans accuse Antonio Margarito of using loaded gloves after Margarito and his trainer Javier Capetillo had their boxing licenses revoked for one year by the California State Athletic Commission. The bans stem from Capetillo putting a plaster-like substance under Margarito’s hand wraps before his bout against Shane Mosley on 24 January.
Now a year after his stunning 2nd round loss to Manny Pacquiao, Ricky Hatton has voiced suspicion that Pacquiao may be using performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) after Pacquiao refused to accede to demands over Olympic-style, pre-fight blood-testing.
Hatton, who has stayed away from boxing since getting knocked out by Pacquiao, said he should have made the same blood testing demand as Floyd Mayweather Jr., whose fight against Pacquiao fell through last year.
“I could have had those rules but I wasn’t bothered,” Hatton told The National. “Maybe in hindsight, I should have done.”
“I must admit, I took my chances against Manny. A few years ago he was getting knocked down by little men like Juan Marquez and then all of a sudden he is knocking out Oscar de la Hoya, myself and Miguel Cotto who are powerhouses in comparison.”
“It is a little bit strange. He could be on what Floyd is accusing him of [performance-enhancing substances] or it could be that he is just a great fighter who has improved. We will never know.”

We will never really know if margarito loaded his gloves for the cotto fight, But I will say this. Most crooks dont get caught their first time out either. All I know is that I’ve never seen cotto look as bad as he did after that fight. not even after the pacquiao fight where took more damage. Remember he said it took about 2 weeks for all the swelling to go down. Margarito is strong but not that strong. And remember that cotto didnt take alot of damage in the first part of that fight, most of the damage came after the 6th or 7th. By the end of the fight he looked like he got his ass whiped the whole fight. all that and the fact that he looked so gassed. Its very hard to believe that margacheato could do all that and then get his ass handed to him by mosely the way he did. It was all suspect to me the night of the fight, Its was alot more suspect after the mosely fight. Cotto is no stranger to going 12 rounds, and cottos stamina was never questioned untill after that fight. I believe margarito stole that title from cotto. He is a cheater in my book and dosent deserve to box again ever. for all you clowns with no honor that defend him think of this. If cotto would have died in that ring and then you saw what happend in the mosely fight you wouldnt be so quick to stick up for that loser. Apparently it takes a death in the ring before some of you will see the light. Its not about cotto I would say the same thing if it was any other fighter.

What?!!! Does Hatton know what he’s saying? He’ll never win against Pacquiao even if they would fight in the featherweight! Their skills are way too far and everyone knows it. He’s also believe on Gayweather’s accusation? Come on! Where’s Gayweather now that Pacquiao is good with all the Olympic fu**’n style of testing and agreed to fight him?!
