Rumor is that former world champion Ricky Hatton was planning to comeback in June 26 as he felt he had “one more big fight” left in him however the “Hit Man” was recently spotted at a bar and looked near 200lbs and was talking about retirement, not sure if it was the beer talking but his father Ray Hatton also expressed uncertainty about Ricky Hatton returning to the ring.
Meanwhile his brother, Matthew Hatton (38-4-2, 15 KOS), will be fighting Gianluca Branco (43-2-1, 22 KOs) for the vacant European welterweight title. The fight will take place on March 26 in Goresbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham, England. The winner will face Yuri Nuzhnenko.
Hatton Promotions will promote the fight with SKY SPORTS and will be televised live in the UK and DAHLIA TV in Italy.
