Local Fighter Ready for More

Unbeaten Richard Brewart Jr. is now officially part of the Thompson Boxing Promotions’ stable of young, talented and hungry prospects, contenders and champions all fighting to make a name for themselves.

Brewart is a local product trained by Henry Ramirez. The Southern California team has been a popular draw at the live shows (pre-pandemic) and fans are already looking forward to attending future shows in person. He just turned 23 and has maintained a perfect record with his last bout on June 6 on Thompson’s 3-2-1 Boxing card. He attended Rancho Cucamonga High School and fought locally as an amateur too. The pugilist is happy to sign with the SoCal company and his parents, Richard and Lynn and Richard’s sister Eileen were proudly in attendance as Team Brewart signed all the paperwork.

The Thompson crew host frequent shows year round (in person and also live streamed around the globe) so be sure to be on the lookout for Brewart Jr.–he’s definitely one to watch!

Thompson Boxing Promotions is happy to announce that they have officially signed undefeated super welterweight prospect Richard “Cool Breeze” Brewart Jr. (10-0, 4 KOs), a fighter they have developed since his pro debut.

Brewart Jr., an orthodox fighter who stands 5’10″, has showed great improvement in his most recent fights, having beaten his last three opponents who had a combined record of (20-1-3, 11 KOs).

“Signing with Thompson Boxing is something I’ve been working toward since I turned professional,” said Brewart Jr., who resides in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. “I made my pro debut with them and the support they’ve showed me by putting me on all their cards proves they are the right promotional company for me. I consider Ken Thompson, Alex Camponovo, and their entire staff like family. I’m ready to take my career to the next level and I’m looking forward to putting on some great entertaining fights. I’m glad I’m now part of the Thompson Boxing family.”

Ken Thompson, who has been in the boxing business for over 20-years and counting, feels Brewart Jr. has all the elements of a great prizefighter, and is thrilled to have signed a kid he’s groomed from the beginning.

“Richard is a great human being, in addition to being a tremendous fighter,” stated promoter Ken Thompson. “We’ve watched him develop since his pro debut and now he is officially part of the Thompson Boxing family. We have big plans for him and we want to see him reach the pinnacle of the boxing world.”
