On Oct. 30 Hector “Machito” Camacho Jr. will face Luis Ramon “Yori Boy” Campas on a PPV-televised card in El Camino Real Hotel in downtown El Paso, TX in a fight titled “Revenge of the Son.”

machoFive months ago Campas faced Hector Camacho Sr. and let me tell you, it was a boring 8 rounds draw. I don’t even want to say it was a fight because it wasn’t. Both fighters looked out of shape. It was like seeing two senior citizens fighting over their medication.

Don’t get me wrong, I liked Camacho Sr. when he was in his prime. He was one bad mother. He faced some great opponents like Freddie Roach in 1985, Julio Cesar Chavez, Felix Trinidad, Robert Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De La Hoya just to name a few, but to see him back in the ring, it was disappointing because we all know he was collecting a retirement check.

To see his son take on Campas is a joke, Camacho Jr. is going to win via KO within the first two rounds. I personally will not pay to see this, I will rather pay to see Camacho Jr. versus Fernando Vargas, now that will be entertaining.

What’s your opinion? Will you pay to see a young blood beat up on a senior?
